1968 390 Engine Tag Location
« on: May 23, 2015, 11:20:57 AM »
I'm close to 95% on the complete factory correct engine rebuild for a '68 390ci out of SJ in Dec 67.  I've received a new engine tag from Marti Auto Works (took 5 months!) and now need to figure out exactly what bolt this attaches to on the engine.  Advice is welcomed, pictures are treasured.  Thanks.

It is attached under the bolt that holds the coil(under coil bracket).

5 months for that is fast, it took me 8 months to get mine……. :)
I don't always downshift, but when I do it is near a Prius so they can hear me hurting the environment.

Great, I'd heard that once before, but coming now from you Bob...under the coil bolt it goes.
Thanks!
