Window stop bolts in door jamb- 69 Coupe/Convertible
« on: April 30, 2015, 09:21:08 PM »
Does anyone know what color these bolts are supposed to be?  I assume body color is incorrect.  I thought they would have been included in my AMK body kit, but they were not.  If anyone knows the AMK individual kit number for these, please let me know.  I would prefer to order new ones instead of stripping and refinishing mine.  There is a "T" looking symbol on the 4 in the jamb and 2 on the door for the top stop.  Thanks.

Early 69 shelby convertible.  Built December 1968.

This should help

All unpainted - adjusting plate - body color

Finish on bolts the same as on door latch striker and retainers - silver cad - though a dull zinc would pass

Same as the ones on the driver and passenger door adjustment plates

Thanks for posting the photo.  I soaked my bolts in some lacquer thinner and they came out looking like the ones in the photo.
