Topic: 428 CJ Fuel line location

Can someone confirm the proper location of the fuel line when it joins the fuel pump for a 428 CJ with power steering and AC?  The fuel line as sent (as well as the location of the fuel pump male end) hits the power steering bracket currently. Is it correct to rotate the fuel pump end clockwise that it  points towards the radiator and bend the fuel line 90 degrees so it clears the PS pump bracket? The fuel pump outlet is now at the 6 :00 position in relation to the mounting bolts to the block.
The schematic seems to show this but I'm not positive and don't want to bend the fuel line unless this is correct
