Topic: 69 Shelby Question

Do 69 Shelbys have the factory rear license plate light installed on the bumper? A friend has a 69 and he had a light on hi car when he bought it. Since the plate is above that, the light wouldn't be terribly effective.

Not sur eif a PO installed it, or replaceed the bumper and the new bumper had a light, or ??

The bumpers are exactly the same on 69 Shelby and Mustang models C9ZZ-17906-A.  The round license plate lights are totally different on the Shelby's and push into the rear body panel.  They are a C9ZZ-13550-B and dont see good originals on Ebay very often.

I know someone that makes them up . Probably charges a couple hundred dollars or so I am guessing based on the couple hours of time it takes to build them and source component parts.
