What is thses 2 brackets ?

just done the body work on my 68 fastback and put back my rear suspension parts..BUT left me this 2 brackets ! Original or someone put them for something ?

After market traction bars - similar to the traction master as used on 66 Shelbys though the materials are different.

Leave them off for concours ;)

if i remember when i remove them, they weres bolt with the rear shocks mounting plate , like if someone use them for hook !

I think Jeff was referring to the front half of the traction bar that is typically welded to the frame rail. It makes for a good amount of work to take it off and make look like it was never there. The ones on the floor are in fact bolted under the spring plate.

They are TMC ( The original supplier for Shelby) traction master spring plate brackets.. However, this style replaced the original version about 1980. The original is cast and only has provision for three Ubolt holes instead of four, like the ones you have here.
