1967-1968 instrument cluster with tachometer question ?

hi ,

i have a original cluster with a  6 000 tachometer ! Do you know the value of this parts, how much i can ask for it ?
Mustang Fastback 1968
289, 4 speed
Built in Dearborn on April 16th

What is the engineering number stamped on the backside of the housing?  It looks like there was some "conversion" work done on the wiring. Sometimes the parts are worth more than the sum, this might be the case.  The engineering number will give us a better idea of value.

That's about the worst hack job on a dash cluster harness I've seen.  If you want to sell the cluster, remove all of that wiring, as it is very distracting.

Didn't the tachometer option, also include a trip meter for the odometer?
