68 GT Fastback Color
« on: March 03, 2015, 08:46:13 PM »
I am considering painting my car Brittany Blue with parchment interior. Does anyone know where I could find pictures of this color combination, or know if any were built with this trim and color code?

There were 23 Fastbacks produced Q code Brittany Blue with 2U Parchment standard bucket seat interior and 4 with 6U deluxe buckets. No bench seats cars were produced with Parchment interior in Brittany Blue.
There were 865 Brittany Blue Fastbacks produced to give you an idea of the popularity of Parchment interior.

Mine is a '67, but that color combo is dynamite……...
I don't always downshift, but when I do it is near a Prius so they can hear me hurting the environment.

This was my first 68.5 in Brittany Blue to give you an idea of the lines.

That's nice Marty, I remember seeing a Brittany Blue Cali Special at a car show not long ago.  If you Goggle "Brittany Blue 1968 Mustang", you will get lots of pictures, good luck.  It is a very rare color actually, in most any form, and a parchment interior is even more rare.  My Marti shows my '67 'vert to be the only S code GT with that color combo built.

1 of the only 3 produced R code GT/CS is Brittany Blue. Armond restored it a couple of years ago.
The Red one is in the Pacific NW and the White/Parchment 4.30 4 speed one is .....around ;D

Wow Kerry!   An R code '68 1/2 is rare, a Brittany Blue one like yours is incredibly rare, so I hate to think about an R code GT/CS in Brittany Blue, that is almost unobtainium stuff….. :)
