Original Master Cylinder
« on: January 30, 2015, 10:52:53 PM »
How does one tell if they have an original master cylinder?  I'm looking at mine and I honestly don't know if it is original or not.  There are numbers on the side of it and I don't see any underneath it.  It has a plug where on a 64 the brake light switch would be and it is an Oct 64 car.

Not original Chris. On the originals it wouldn't have been drilled for a switch.

that e-bay is seller is misinformed on this item. most of the replacements of this era were drilled to retrofit earlier models.
