2007 Mustang blend door question
« on: May 21, 2018, 03:10:14 AM »
I hear there are 4 actuators. 3 near the glove box, and one behind the instrument cluster. Which one does which function?

To explain or elaborate, The air will not come out of the dash vents. I had one making the clicking sound. I found out it was the upper one near the glove box. I replaced it (it was defective with broken gear teeth) but that did not solve the problem with the dash vents blowing air. I took out the actuator below the faulty on e, and it appears to be working fine. Please don't tell me it is the damn one behind the dash!

Get a cup of coffee or adult beverage and have a read-through...you won't like it at all:

Just my opinion here but hackmachining a hole in the dash, though offered as a solution, isn't what I would recommend.
