69, 9" and 28 spline axle's;  R. 31 1/8' and L. 27 1/16".   OE axle shafts have a code cast on the hub ends.  Brian

At that length you must be asking about the entire rear end assembly ?  Brian

Hi Brian,

what did you mean with 69,9" ?
Are you sure about the R. 31 1/8"?

http://www.summitracing.com/int/parts/msr-a28-67must/overview/year/1969/make/ford/model/mustang

Here they write 31 1/16". What is the correct length now? Im a little confused now.

greets

Christopher

I know that 28 splined axles are the same between 8 and 9 inch rear ends from 1967-70 on Mustangs and Cougars. Driver or passenger side. I don't know the specific lengths or where to measure from by memory.

I think Brian meant 69 Mustang with 9" rearend and 28 spline axles. I think in some countries like where you're from, you guys use a comma (,) in a decimal number, whereas we use a period (.) for a decimal number. Example: Yours, 69,9   Where we say 69.9.

I think I said that right? ;D

1967/70 Mustang RH 31 1/8", LH 27 1/16" (31 spline)

and 28 splines? Mustangsunlimited ans summitracing write 31 1/16" and 27 1/16"
