I have a friend who is restoring a Metuchen S code 67 fastback. It was the 46th built. On the buck tag it says Extra SIO. Does anyone know what that is. I checked Kevin Marti's tag book and no help there.
He sent me a message too. The build tag reads EXTRA-SOL.

For 1970 the F, G, H, and M code power steering stuff is the same, except that the 302 and 351W engines, each, have a different front adjusting bracket. Both engines use the same pump and pump mounting brackets.
The 428CJ, and I believe 6 cylinders still used the 1967-69 pump and aluminum pump mounting brackets. I could be wrong on the 6 cylinder engines though.

Thanks.  I was surprised to find that it was just foam.  It's definitely not what I expected for the price.  What sucks is most of the panels that I know of only come in white or black and I need dark red.  I know they can be painted to match but it's a pain and I'm close to being done with this car that hates me.

I think you mean 351C? [edit -- guess not]

The pump bracket is very different on 351W v. 351C because of the location of the pressure port.
The can, 3A674, is very different for the same reason.
The high side hose is also different due to the larger size of the outlet port and length difference where the two tubes converge.

I see the same picture was used for both installations but that's not right.
Can any of the 351W guys verify this clamp is used on both?

Page 81 is the 351C installation.

I tagged a buddy with the Mustang Market panels and he says the attachment points are close, not perfect.
I have a pair of the MM deluxe panels for my 65 and they are much nicer  than the TMIs I have on my 67 deluxe. I'm going to sell my new, non-installed TMIs and buy the MM for my 67.

If I remember I'll try and take a pic of the back of his next time I'm there. I have an interest since my 70 car needs new Dlx panels too.

The clip looks like the one in the "1970 Mustang Chassis Assembly Manual" (AM0035) page 80, lower right hand corner, which has a Ford engineering part number of D0OA-3E506-A (note - number "0" and letter "O") . It does not appear to have any attaching hardware (like a screw).
Applications are Mustang and Cougar with 351W engines.

I think it was TMI.  The shop that did my interior actually purchased them for me.

1969 Boss / 69 Boss 302 Trunk Stickers

Responded to a request for original decal/sticker pictures for 69 Boss 302 on another site so though I would post the information here also for safe keeping  :)

Here are some pictures

This 69 jack sticker is interesting in that the printing was done in purple. Not sure if this a change due to the exposure to the elements over time or a different printer/supplier for a period in 69. Also shows location.

Thank you Jeff for the pictures. After looking at the pictures you sent, I believe the items I had mentioned are all correct as far as what is painted light and dark blue. I don?t think I missed anything. Just have to get the correct paint codes to the body man so he can order the 2 correct colors of blue for our 67 2B coupe!! Won?t need much of the dark blue at all! And probably a quart will be enough of the dark blue.
