Title: Correct Decals & paper tags - Oct 65 built 66 San Jose V8 with PS & AC
Post by: Herman on August 27, 2014, 07:16:17 AM
Hello All

I was wondering if anyone has any photos of the correct decals and paper tags including their locations for a 66 SJ GT Convertible with PS & AC built 15th October.

Thanks in advance
Herman

Believe only five paper decals/tag were used

A couple of examples from about your cars time period and plant. All of these were originally paper based stickers. Most but not all received a clean overlayer to help protect them from the elements

Battery charge  -at or above the starter solenoid
Engine ID - So you have  thermactor or non-thermactor car?
Engine CU  - air cleaner lid front top
AUTOLITE service decal - Drivers side air cleaner base towards front
Service decal - Drivers side shock tower forward face between  the wire loom and AC line looks typical for this production period.
