Can't seem to find a definitive answer on the push rod length for a Ford 260 v8. MPC shows it the same as 289, 6.825" long, C2OZ-6565-B
Anyone confirm that?

When I had my engine rebuilt, I think I checked the correct push rods in Mannel's book. Don't have it with me to verify, so I'd try that reference to cross check the MPC.

Actually checked Mannel's book first and am not finding anything there. Maybe looking in the wrong place?

One of the books I've got ( non Ford) shows the same length for 221-302 1962- 1969 1/2 (before the positive stop rocker arms) of 6.825 inches
Another book references a change in length (would not effect your engine) of the valve stem which added .060 inch to the length of the push rod. They list that change at taking effect on 10-21-68
Can't swear either one is 100% correct but then neither is Ford all the time ;)

So, if I go to, say O'Reily auto parts, put in 1964 Falcon with a 260, I get the following push rod overall lengths:
Sealed Power, 6.8760
Sealed Power chrome-moly, 6.885
Melling, 6.804
Melling Select Performance, chrome moly, 6.886
Melling Select Performance, chrome moly, 6.776
