Title: Crossover Plate on convertible

Are these typically bare metal, black or red oxide. I thought they were installed after underbody was painted. San Jose assembled.

If I'm guessing based on your screen name it's Semi-gloss black (glossier than engine pulleys and the lot)

When I dug this part out of the barn it still had the factory black paint on it. Just had the painter freshen that up. Thanks again!

Thanks Jeff. Can you confirm the correct way of installing it please? Does the flat/straight end go to the rear and the raised/indented end go to the front?
