I have a 66 convertible and I am going to add a power top and fog lights. I am having problems finding the location that I need to put the switches. I found a reference for the top switch which mocked up in the pic attached. However I am not sure where the fog li switch goes. Any help would be much appreciated.

Found this is Mustang Monthly.

On factory GTs, the foglight switch was located on the extreme left side of the instrument panel, near the courtesy-light switch in the door jamb. However, on a non-factory-type installation, the switch can be located anywhere, including underneath the instrument panel.

I did see that write up but since the article didn't have a top switch I didn't know if the switch would move locations. I also found where other vert owners added fog lights they used the d hole already on the bottom of the dash. Just trying to make it look right.

Here's a pic of an original GT with power top (Dearborn car). As the MM article indicated though, if dealer installed it could be anywhere. so I think its up to you whether you want it to look factory or dealer. I also included the template from the article for locating te hole.
