Title: Correct Speedometer cable

Looking at some pictures and now I am wondering.  My speedometer cable is gray.  Is that right or should it be black?  C4 automatic if that makes a difference.

Most likely is a service replacement.

Just when I think I am almost done...   :(  Anyone know how good or correct the repro ones are?

Repro ones are black but lacking details. It isnt so bad with an automatic or 3 spd cable but the 4 spd cables miss the clamping sleeve and wear protector
