My steering wheel ias in pretty good shape overall. It is not cracked or excessively faded. However it is missing one of the little silver ”jewels” that line the wheel. I have been unable to locate one. Do I have any options other than a new wheel?

Have heard of some folks using a hole punch on a aluminum can and using them for steering wheel dots. Probably someone that has an old wheel with some.

The beer can (empty of course) with a 1/4 inch conductor's punch worked for me. The trick is to have the punched disc a bit larger than the hole in the the wheel. Sometimes they show up on e-bay.

I often check with them first since they're here in town. The only thing they had to offer was a repro wheel that had flat dots on it. Didn't really care for it. Didn't look right.
