Title: 66 A/C Thermostat Switch

Hi,

Does any of you Ford Parts Experts know of any reason this won't work on a 66 Mustang factory A/C evaporator?

The shaft for the knob is different, and threaded portion which receives the jam nut is shorter.

Attached is a picture of a 66 unit I had apart, which shows an original switch.
