Title: '69 NJ Service specification decal
Post by: drummingrocks on May 04, 2012, 12:36:37 PM
Jeff,

Would you happen to have an opinion on where this decal should go on a Metuchen-built '69, built on June 5th, 1969?

Thanks!

Jeff,
Would you happen to have an opinion on where this decal should go on a Metuchen-built '69, built on June 5th, 1969?

Try to keep the opinions to a minimum - just sharing pictures of what I've found on unrestored cars ;)

Hope this helps - draw your own conclusion but, like the other Dearborn example, I see a pattern :)

9T02F203159 poor picture and angle - but it is on the drivers side inner fender panel like the two examples above

my unrestored Metuchen 5/19/69 is in the same place as Jeffs 1st pic except about 1" lower.

my unrestored Metuchen 5/19/69 is in the same place as Jeffs 1st pic except about 1" lower.
My Metuchen built(2-24-69,Monday) '69 Mach 1 is also the same as the first pic, and as you described, mine is about an inch lower also.  My Mach 1 is concours restored, but took pics during the resto to know where all my stickers went.
