Please !!!!
I hope you can produce a close-up picture on a 65/66 of the intersection where the 3 pieces of rubber intersect...
The top-frame weatherstrip -- The windshield header weatherstrip -- at A-pillar weatherstrip. ON A NEW CAR.
I'm trying to get the feel of how good a fit was NORMAL!

Sorry - can almost guarantee that I've never taken a picture of an early convertible with the top up and of the union of the A pillar to top weatherstrip are. But will look just in case
-
thanks for looking

The fit should be close. The A-pillar rubber should be making contact with the top frame weather-strip.
Here's a pic of an original top '66:

My "Carpenter" A-pillar rubbers have a "tab" protruding on the top end. It looks like to me, it needs cut off because it makes an air crack.
