Title: axle bumper mounted to the floor
Post by: sparky65 on February 17, 2012, 03:55:06 PM
Does anyone know if the axle bumper that was attached to the floor in the center was different for 6cyl?  I dont recall mine bolted on, but I cant figure out where it went.  I am also reading some stuff that seems to indicate that the bolt on kind only applied to a 289 2V.

Thanks Jeff!  That's what I thought its a different bumper.  Now I really have to figure out where mine ended up.

Yes had a number of examples without bumper but as soon as I found one with a bumper it confirmed  that on the others it simply fell out at some point
