Title: Vent Window Gasket?
Post by: MWM on November 30, 2011, 11:07:39 PM
I am replacing the glass on my vent windows.  I have removed the glass from the stainless steel frame (backwards 'L' shape) and the gasket that held the glass in place is brittle and missing in places.  I am told there is not a replacement, what is a good work around?
Thank you!

This is simply glass tape and can be bought online in different thicknesses.

Yes, think - "remove the frame from the glass". I use a narrow screwdriver and gently pry the frame from the glass. I'm still at 100 percent intact and reusable.
