C30E-8380-B dated 4H25 Thanks!
-
Something's not right...the flywheel base number is 6375. 8380 is somehow related to cooling/radiator, and my MPC doesn't list an 8380 number.
-
Thanks Randy, I'll check the numbers again.
-
6375 would be in the part number but 6380 would be the casting number. A C30E-6380-B casting number is for a manual tranny small block, 157 tooth ring gear flywheel.

Thanks JK for clairifying. Is there any way to distinguish if this is a Hipo flywheel?

There was a bunch of info on this on the old hi-po forum. If I remember right, the balance of the flywheel is different on a K code, but they carry the same casting number. Sometimes there will be an orange paint splash on the hi-po flywheels.

You know Charles you are right-I'd seen something about that on the Hipo forum as well, I'm going to look in the Hipo book and see if there is any info there.

Hi I have all the info on the HiPo site about flywheels saved. But I cannot send you a PM thru this site, and my email provider has scrambled my contacts so I cannot send you an email.
I know you have my email, so send me a message and I will email you the file. Or a PM if you have lost my contact
Cheers

Tony I got the basic casting number info off of the Mustang Tek website. I didn't have any other info readily available.
