Title: How to bookmark
Post by: Ivy65 on February 16, 2025, 07:05:44 PM
New member here, wondering if there is a way to bookmark or catalog threads that I want to keep as reference?  Such good information here and so much of it, I'd like to keep some things that I stumble upon that's pertinent to my build (65GT)

Welcome.
"Bookmarking" or saving data depends on your system. I use a desktop system, Windows 10, to do "computer stuff".
As such, it is is under my control and not in the "cloud". I've downloaded many Mustang related .pdf files to this old desktop and refer to them sort of often. And for reference, I have a 65 GT Fastback and a 66 GT Fastback.

I don't think this kind of function exists.

I don't think this kind of function exists.
I have over 1300 "bookmarked" websites on my desktop computer (ASUS, Windows 10, Firefox). A rough count of my Mustang related links is about 150.

On a Windows machine create a folder on the desktop ("Mustang stuff" for instance) on the top right of the desktop screen.

If you find a thread worthy of saving, shrink your browser a bit, highlight the entire URL and then drag and drop the highlighted URL into the folder (name). No copy or pasting -- just drag and drop it.

If you want to get fancy you could have different folder names like engine, suspension, etc.

Simply dbl clicking on any URL in the folder will show the relevant thread.

I've been copying and pasting to my notes on my Mac and that works, but having the entire thread helps with the context of the answers and all kinds of good stuff.  Thanks!
