Title: Heat Insulation on 65-66 Ignition Coils?
Post by: s2ms on November 15, 2024, 06:02:25 PM
I think I remember reading somewhere that from the factory there was a thin paper like material between the coil and bracket to provide some heat protection. But I cannot find any reference to that anywhere. It it true or was I dreaming? Mostly interested in 65-66 if it makes a difference.

Thanks,
Dave

Out of maybe ten thousand cars I don't recall ever seeing an insulator sheet as you describe. Just my observation on my part

Thanks Jeff, that's a pretty convincing sample size...
