Hi,
I'm in the process of installing my new wiring harness in the engine bay. The clip kit I have includes 2 x large plastic clips.
(photo attached - PN is 382184-S)
According to my Osborn Electrical Assembly Manual (page E8-8115-1), one goes just beneath the solenoid (screw hole there so no issue).
The other goes somewhere below that. Like underneath the bolted on battery support panel.
However there's no screw hole there. nor can I find one in any web photos of that area in 1967/68. Perhaps that FWD apron panel got replaced at some time and the repairer couldn't be bothered installing the 2nd clip?
Can anyone provide a factory correct photo of that area or enlighten me on exactly where it goes? Like measurements from nearby points of reference. Thanks in advance...

Here is a picture of our 68 GT 350. It shows the location of both of the wire retainers. Note the original retainers are more of a D shape. I know it looks nasty, but the picture was taken right after a shop fire.

Many thanks.

The D shaped ones are sometimes sold in the 1969 kits and can be found under the dash if you want originals

Thanks, yes I found a busted D clip on the LH side behind the dash close to the air vent...
2 came with my AMK engine bay kit. So I still need to buy a couple.
