Title: Shade band on windshield
Post by: BHStang on May 18, 2023, 04:45:13 PM
My Mach 1 is a factory AC with the green tinted glass through out.  Should the windshield in addition to already being the sun-x green tint also have the extra dark shade band at the top?

Yes it is darker but not near as dark of a transition as the replacement glass.

ECS is a good company however since they start out with a modern glass core and etch the appropriate trademark and date info on it do not expect that the dark band to be any different then other modern glass windshields. It will be different then original.
