Title: c4 kickdown rod 67

I'm seeking a C4  289 V8  kickdown rod  as shown on attachment.

Mine is funky w extra bends. I'm assuming 68-69 are the same.

I am pretty sure that that style of transmission kick down rod started in 1969. Prior to 1969 it was a short cable off of the bell crank.

Uses a cable connected to an arm welded to the gas pedal bellcrank

Take a look in the assembly manual, the drawing entitled "Installation - Accelerator Assy" for "1967 Mustang & Cougar Auto Trans - 8 Cyl"

I have an extra 9793 bell crank with welded on kickdown lever for this application - it is phosphated and ready to install.
