Title: 67 GT500 power steering oil cooler lines insulation?

Hi all,

67 GT500's had these types of instructions on the oil cooler lines please ?

Not typically used on any 67 Shelby.

They are not for insulation but when used on power steering lines they are typically used for rub protection. At least as it relates to Mustang/Shelby. Consider your source of whoever is giving you the idea that they were used on a 67 Shelby my be confused. They may have confused them with a similar protector being used on 69/70 big block Mustang and Shelby power steering cooler hoses.
