Title: 66 Metuchen Running Change Thread - Passenger Side Wheel House Depression

Purpose of this thread is to document the approximate change over period during 1966 Metuchen production.

The subject was originally explored in a 65 thread about the subject.

As usual will invite input with car VIN and style of wheel house while I survey the collection of pictures and such I have. Will as usual post in this post our findings and conclusion, if possible, as they are determined.

Initial scan of the pictures I have suggest sometime in the 6T21xxxx's or so right this moment.

No depression in 6T09K127xxx from October 65

I checked over my parts cars and found the following. I know the date code on the door tag is just an estimate but thought I would post them too.

6T07C182xxx- no depression- no door tag
6T07C215xxx- no depression- door tag date code 01C
6T07T252xxx- has depression- door tag date code 28D
6T07T281xxx- has depression- door tag date code 16C. This vin number was 29K units after 6T252xxx but it has an earlier date code on the door tag. I did find the buck tag and it has a date code of G21

6T09K232XXX March 28 Build, has depression (similar to your bottom pic - red paint)

My April Metuchen built 66 has the indent.

to add to the findings;  6T07A202***  03B schedule build date.  no trunk depression.

                                  6T08A215***  01C schedule build date.  no truck depression.

                                  6T09K190***  13A schedule build date.  no trunk depression.

                                 
im sure i can come up with a few other examples once i go into images a little further.
