Title: Color of Trunk Side of Trap Door
Post by: kkupec02 on October 30, 2021, 02:54:08 PM
Is the trunk side of the trap door painted semi gloss black or interior dark charcoal gray? It is rust free, but the paint has faded to the degree that it looks like the color of my interior paint that I am putting on the interior side of the trap door. Thanks

Just as a reminder you could have likely figured the answer to your question by looking through the 67 fastback pictures posted in the Unrestored Picture section.

As a note the hinge paint tint and level of gloss is sometimes different on original cars from the interior/trap door likely due to different suppliers. In some examples for other years you can find black painted examples where the interior was Ford "black " or dark charcoal in real terms

In later years the trap door is not always painted to match the interior main color
