Title: Apple settings changing apostrophes to question marks

I recently discovered that whenever I used an apostrophe on this site using an iPhone, it would save as a question mark so instead of seeing car's, it would show car?s.

This doesn't happen on other sites that I'm aware of so maybe it's something in the site settings recently changed?

or on a mobile device: Settings --> General --> Keyboard --> Smart Punctuation - turn this off.

Interesting. I don't use Apple products, but at least there is a fix.

I noticed this too and started saying "it is" instead of "it's". Let this serve as a test.

I at times get a strange Celtic looking letter  " E "  when looking at past posts here and I use a PC.

Wow - glad you posted the tip... I was going nuts trying to figure out why after making a post on here I could not correct the ? To ' !!!  Who would have known it was a mobile setting causing that conflict!
