I have several 1970 rim blow steering wheels for restoration but am not sure besides the center pad, what the difference is between the 69 and 70 steering wheels. I believe there is a difference in how the signal switch is activated by the wheel, and also maybe the lock out, but do not know for sure as I can only go by my original 1970 wheel and steering column, can someone advise, thanks.

The thickness of the cross bars. Skinny ones are 1970-74 Ford rimblow.
All three even sized, horizontal with bottom spoke - 1969.

The 70 wheel has the locking plate on the backside built into the wheel, I think the horn contact ring location is different also. here's some pics off the internet to show the difference and why they wown't interchange....
