Another invitation to participate in a survey. This subject was brought up earlier but we didn't really collect any data and in turn produced any idea of when the change was possibly introduced into production. Its been observed that earlier door hinges originally had a sharp 90 degree leading edge (when installed) and later versions had a beveled edge. Same rules as usual - Only 65 examples in this thread (others will follow) need a partial VIN and scheduled build date if available so that we can at least try and organize these chronologically.
Not unusual for hinges to be replaced or swapped so we may get some false positives but we should be able to identify them
Both versions

On first pass I found the following
Highest VIN with the sharp edge 5R18777x Scheduled -Feb 18
Lowest VIN with the beveled edge 5R24796x Scheduled -July 26 or so
Still have a wide gap between the two points of about 4 months so we should be able narrow down that range more

To support the earlier highest VIN with the sharp edge I offer 5R18740x Scheduled -mid Feb Likely produced the same week or within days of 5R18777x
