Doing a bit of maintenance around the disc brakes and came across these LCA ball joint rivets. Don't recognize them as OE ? I assumed the after market did not do the cross hatched rivets ? Any easy way to ID these or are they just plain ol repro's ? Thanks. Brian

Yes Moog and TRW supplied aftermarket/over the counter replacement lower A arm with riveted ball joints.
Some places to start.
- Check the cast in markings on the boot
- Check for jack tabs or "bumps" in place of the jack tabs

My guess too.
The TRW and MOOG arms used similar to OEM boots like seen in pictures for a long while. So no surprise that they might use the same rivet installation method too. Other aftermarket companies used different shaped boots and rivet installation method. In fact some of the more recent TRW and MOOG arms had the different boots as well.
