Title: Color of MC? NJ export GT

Hi,
I just aquired a nice 66 K GT export Fastback. Built in Metuchen with a B18 date on the buck tag.

Re-doing the brakes and wonder about the color of the MC (black imo) and lid of MC..?

Also, should a car with this build date have the decal on the MC lid?

Painted semi-gloss black as a complete (cap and retainers also) assembly. Small plugs would have been inserted where the brake lines would attach leaving a small shadow (bare steel) on these surfaces after all was installed on the car. Would have been too early to consider the possibility of a sticker on the cap from my understanding
