Does anyone has some pics showing the position and assy on this Radio Console Bracket?

Attaches to the sides of the console along the top edge of the console up under the dash. Center attachment point
Don't recall having a picture of one installed but will check

Hard to take any pictures without disassembling the car. I suspect if you went to the car with your parts in hand it would be very easy to install using the factory drawing as a guide. Those brackets need to be bolted to the dash first , then the console and radio can be installed in either order.

Currently I'm restoring a console.
May be another one is doing the same and can take some pics.
Basically there are more holes than needed in that console......thats why.

Ralf,
The picture that Royce posted is accurate and pretty clear. Here are some from a car to supplement that. Compare the diagram to the pictures.
You should figure out that the horizontal piece is not for the console. Rather it is located directly behind the radio, and used to support the rear of the radio, so that the weight is not cantilevered off the face of the radio.
This should solve your problem. If not, then ask more questions and I'll try again.
Basically the bracket setup in your last post is upside down.

I always thought this bracket is designed for a - Radio - Rear - w/ Center Console, like WCCC has written in their description.
This three part bracket assembly attaches to the console and to the stud protruding from the back of your radio. If you do not use it, you may damage your console due to the weight of the older radios. Correct for Mercury Cougar and Ford Mustang.
Ford part # C7ZA-18923-A rear bracket, C7ZA-18890-B left hand bracket, and C7ZA-18888-E right hand bracket.
Your pic shows a radio in the "normal" dash radio bezel, but not assembled in a center console. Yes, I see the brackets there.
There are 2 holes in my center console, left and right. For what reason? Drilled for any other purpose?
Or do I simply misunderstand the wording "center console"?
That would mean, there is no supporting bracket at all behind the radio when it is assembled in the plastic center console using the radio bezel with roll up door.
Pics show assembled bracket to the radio, but this does not fit into a center console at all.

The pictures I included are from a car with radio and lower console, but the lower console had been removed prior to the pictures. It was not from a "normal" base car.
Here is a picture of the console, showing the holes used to affix the bracket.
You will see two holes per side. I don't recall why that is, but seems to me that I've always seen them this way. Might be an alignment thing.
You will also notice where the console is cut for the air conditioning system. This was from a coupe.
