Title: 68 390 original H pipe
Post by: ruppstang on January 13, 2020, 08:53:58 PM
I am building a 68 GT S code coupe to driven concours standards. I have a original bare steel H pipe that is in good condition. The rest of the exhaust system will be a aluminized after market. My question is would you use the H pipe as it is or have it ceramic coated, or buy a new aluminized H pipe.

i'd go for the new aluminized pipe. that way it all matches & has same patina.

+1 since you have already made the choice for the rest of the system
