Title: 67 Zbar mount engine side
Post by: Horsman on November 17, 2019, 11:10:58 PM: I think I am missing something, see pic. My assembly manual shows part number 357329-S8, is this a very thin flat washer?

In all the documentation I've forund, the thickness (and material) of that washer was not specified.

Yes the felt washer is in the diagram going on after part number 357329-S8.

Or, every one of these I've seen is a service part.

The washer noted as 357329 is a captive washer and is on the threaded part that goes into the block. It does not come off. I don't remember there being another one behind the felt.

I think the 67 Assembly Manual picture just has it on the wrong side of the built-in nut.

The three I have all look like the version in the pic.

Hoping to see any other versions out there including 65/66.

It's the same size as the other one I showed above and measures the same.

Glad I bought it!
