Title: Red Luxury Interior Colors
Post by: KenFirch on September 07, 2019, 03:07:12 PM
On my 1966 SJ convertible (76B body), Candy Apple Red color (T), Red luxury interior (65), I'd like to get the interior metal colors right.  It appears the dash pad is burgundy, as well as the dash speaker grill and lower windshield trim.  Then the interior color, different than the body color, for the A-pillars, lower dash, inside doors, 8-track speaker grills, and steering column.  It looks like the inside firewall and floor up to behind the rear seat also used the interior color (not sure where between body color).  Is the interior color R&M 5773R and the Burgundy 5775M?  I'm thinking of getting a quart mixed up (somewhere) for the red interior areas and perhaps rattle-can the burgundy parts.

Thanks, Ken

Here's a copy of a page from "How to Restore Your Mustang" by Larry Dobbs and Donald Farr that contain the answers.
