Title: Rebuilt Power Steering Valve and Tube Seats

I just rebuilt the P/S valve on my 69 Mustang.  While installing the new hoses I could not get the new hoses on the valve side to tighten up.  The nut bottoms out and the hose is still loose.  I tried the original hoses and same deal.  I ordered new tube seats to hopefully rectify the situation.  My question is this; I did not remove the seats from the valve at time of rebuild, so any suggestions as to what happened to make the connections loose?
