Title: Shock Tower Hole Question - 66 SJ
Post by: KenFirch on July 29, 2019, 03:40:05 PM
I'm filling up a few holes before painting the engine bay, from alarms, etc.  On the drivers side shock tower there's a hole that I'm not sure of.   Is it a factory hole?

On a 66 SJ Convert.

Thanks!

It's not factory. Weld it over. It's looks to be in an odd place to grease the upper "A" arm shaft, which was semi-common.

Done!  I vaguely remember one of those old horns for the alarm being there years ago, but wasn't sure.

Thanks

Did the car have AC? Would be where the bracket goes to secure one of the lines
