Title: Correct finish for 70 Hood Lip Molding Acorn Nuts?
Post by: rcgt350 on November 04, 2010, 02:01:15 AM
I want to get the acorn nuts replated for a 70 hood lip molding. Anyone know what the original finish was?

Zinc plating is what I have been doing on these and I believe this to be correct.

For clarification, are yours the 70 style and not the 69 style?

From my experience the 70 style are zinc (silver) and the 69 style are zinc dichromate (gold).
