Post by: preaction on June 09, 2018, 12:05:27 AM
I have been looking for a rebuild kit for a 68 master cylinder its for a power brakes application so its a 1" bore my local parts supplier doesn't list anything available and NPD said they haven't had a kit for this application for over 8 years does anyone know if something like this is still available ?

There must be because rebuilders still offer the rebuild service. I know some that buy a cheaper auto parts store version to use the guts for their assemblyline original.

Check Rockautoparts. Looks like Raybestos Kit # MK 488. $20.

If you end up needing a whole cylinder (rust pitting or incorrect part), I have a NOS Drum Brake type power master cylinder I am willing to part with...pm me if interested in it.
