Title: were trunk lids made different on the inside

seen some pics of some 70 boss 302 and noticed in the pics that some trunk lids on the inside were one pieces instead of the ones with cut outs  is this from diff factory

There were 69 and 70 versions of the sportroof/fastback trunk lids. Its not unusual to see the wrong one installed on a "restored" car.

The 70 version made it easier to install the rear spoiler than the 69 version did

yes that i know . what i mean is that their are two pieces of the trunk sheet metal , the top piece and the underside piece .all the trunks i have seen the underside  have trianlaur cut outs which are caulked to the top piece .the one i seen on a car seling   on ebay was a solid piece
