I just want to confirm the part# for this distributor. I was told 12127 K and as expected, it's very hard to find. I don't want to keep looking if that isn't the correct#

Don't know the stamped id off the top of my head. Will see what it is unless someone beats me to it. It should have a yellow paint daub indicating the thermactor application. There is one such dist out on the work bench - will see what it's stamped since I noticed (not cleaned yet) it had the marking the other day.

Yep in there. And Jim has done a great job including information not covered in the MPCs (plenty of distributors not represented in those documents) while saving others all the fun 8) of cross referencing and going back and forth between manuals and documents.
Checked the one out in the garage and its an odd one not listed in the applications in the MPC's but in sections showing it had been replaced with other service replacements (what the MPC sometime list) Must have been a very early one since its stamped C6 and C5 with a 5F date code. Making parts in preparation of the next years introduction of the Thermactor systems

I have a C6ZF 12127 B, Date code 5LC, C50F-12131-A (on Shaft). Sorry I'm late to reply...now back to Johnny Walker Red for part of the chest cold remedy...

I should have stated that this distributer is original to our car and still present. I even found remnants of the yellow paint daub on the drivers side of it when doing the cleanup last summer. Apologies for the confusion Jeff. Must have been my cold remedy fogging my head...! Better this morning, time to go to work!
