Title: Correct Indicator stalk?
Post by: 66RavenGTCoupe on May 30, 2016, 10:33:40 AM
So this indicator stalk is on my wife's 1965 SJ Convertible Scheduled Oct 20, 1964. Is this a non Mustang part or is it possibly a carry over part from 1964?
Thanks,
Dan.

The lever should be the same as on your '66. And yes, it is a carryover. It is Service Part No. C3AZ-13305-B.

Thanks 196667Bob,

So my ultimate question is could/did some of these make their way onto early Mustangs like my wifes?

That is NO Carryover Turn signal arm.  It is a Turn signal arm from a '67 to '73 Mustang....Not '63 or earlier.  The Turn Signal arm that you have pictured is #C7ZZ-13305-A which is a '67 to '73 Mustang turn signal arm.

See links below:

Part#C5ZZ-13305-A was the same part as the earlier Part#C3AZ-13305, The only difference was that #C3AZ-13305 has a painted Black stalk, but the end was left chromed.  The arm is identical to the '65-'66 Mustang arm but for the black paint.

Tony : I should have worded my reply better; I was not referring to the one pictured. I meant that the correct one should be the same on 1965 and 1966, and that part is a carryover from 1963 (C3AZ-).
