I am searching for an upgrade to my 8L dated glass. Looking for an original 8K (October 68), 8L (November 68), or 8M (December 68) Carlite clear rear glass for a Sportsroof Mustang. looking for a quality piece without scratches that can catch a finger nail. you can reach me through my e-mail: scg36@hotmail.com

As far as I remember all the rear glass on the 69/70 fastbacks/sportsroof were always tinted on the rear glass.  Is what you have now actually clear and an original piece?

Hi Marcus,
I just took a good look at it, and it is tinted. Basement lights are not helpful.

Based on your call out, I am okay....... as I have another spare tinted if this does polish up well. .
