Title: Wire loom Metal Clip Located on the Passenger Side Radiator support?
Post by: NEFaurora on February 18, 2016, 08:56:07 PM
Yes, I too would like to know the '65-'66 Plants (and time periods) that used the clip in this area.  I've always wondered about it.

It would be nice to know on what cars you'd expect to see it on, and what ones you should'nt.

I'd like to see a picture of said clip, as it doesn't ring a bell in my memory.

'65 Dearborn, May 24th scheduled build, factory GT.  One of many I'm sure we can come up with.

Also seen both styles used there... the olive drab and black...  That Dearborn one I posted a pic of was black.

Were they used on '65-'66 6 cyl cars?  I always thought that the clip was pretty much a V8 thing since the 6 cyl cars had the thick Rubber strip in the top radiator support...  No?!?

Don't believe it was a V8 only there is still room with the radiator support seal to install one just needs to be a little more towards the passenger side.Wire resting on the battery was a problem/issue for all models

Here is a 66 San Jose T code example
