Title: 67 original ribbed tail light panel identification
Post by: socalgt on November 07, 2015, 06:35:08 PM
Am I correct that the Ford part#s can only be found on original ribbed tail light panels and not on the reproduction panels?

I believe that to be the case.  I can get the weight off originals if that would help.

Regarding your subject title, I believe the ribbed panels were only an option for 1967.

You are correct that it was only offered in '67...I mentioned '68 since it fit that model as well.

Thanks for the offer to weight them...but I believe the texture would also identify originals as they were rougher from the sand casting.  I'm thinking the part# would be the best way to tell...as well as the poor fit I understand the reproductions have.
